The Space Coast gives you several very different ways to spend a day in port.
A favorite for families, space fans and first-time visitors. The drive from Port Canaveral is typically about 30 to 40 minutes each way, so allow for transportation time when deciding whether KSC fits your ship's schedule.
A relaxed option close to the port. Depending on where you are headed, the Cocoa Beach area is roughly 10 to 15 minutes away. Visit the Cocoa Beach Pier, spend time on the beach, grab lunch, enjoy the arcade, browse nearby shops or make a stop at Ron Jon Surf Shop.
Another family-friendly option, particularly when your ship has a longer port day. The drive is approximately 45 minutes each way, so we will want to look carefully at your available time before recommending it.
A local dolphin or boat tour may be an option depending on weather, availability and your ship's schedule. Because these experiences have their own departure times, plan them carefully around your port day.
You do not need an all-day attraction to enjoy the Space Coast. We can help you combine beach time, local shopping and restaurants into an easy day close to Port Canaveral.

Port-of-call transportation is different from an ordinary day trip because your ship has a firm schedule. We plan around the required all-aboard time and typically add at least 15 minutes of extra driving-time buffer beyond the normal transportation estimate to help account for traffic or other delays.
Your actual itinerary should also account for time getting off the ship, attraction schedules, admission lines and the time you want to spend at each destination.
If an itinerary feels too tight, we will tell you. There is always another way to enjoy the Space Coast without turning your port day into a race.

If your plans include luggage, ask us about luggage holding. We can arrange to hold luggage for an additional cost while you enjoy your excursion.
